I once developed a troubling obsession with Countdown. I would get up at like 5.30am to watch repeats in the morning because I got home from school too late to catch it even on 4+1. I made my friends bake biscuits, put letters on them with icing and I made everyone play Countdown at lunchtime with these biscuits. I even downloaded the Countdown theme and clock music to put on my iPod so we could use it for the game.
I was 17.
This is just another of my many embarrassing stories that make me question what on earth I am doing with my life.
But I still did get really excited when I saw this episode of The IT Crowd maybe two years or so after that troubling phase.
Oh. My. God. Can we play this game ONEGAI it sounds well fun.
